195 WEL 195 – Topics in Flux Core Arc Welding (1-5 Crs) – Introduces semi-automatic welding processes with emphasis on practical application. Includes the study of filler wires, fluxes and gases. Also teaches basic pipe fitting and all position open butt welds in pipe. Laboratory 3 hours, lecture 2 hours, total of 5 hours for 3 credit class.
