131     PHY 131 – APPLIED PHYSICS I (3 Crs) – Emphasizes application of topics such as precision measurement, statics, dynamics, energy, momentum, properties of matter, heat, sound, optics, and electricity and magnetism. Prerequisites high school algebra, geometry and trigonometry, or equivalent or divisional approval. Part I of II. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
