108     ENV 108 ENVIRONMENTAL MICROBIOLOGY (3 CR.) Studies characteristics and activities of microorganisms, showing their essential relation to diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Explores fundamentals of bacteriology, mycology, and parasitology, emphasizing their relationships to community health. Includes soil, water, wastewater, and industrial microbiology. Reading Level Requisite ENG 4. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
