Assessment
We will offer evening COMPASS assessments in the Testing Center on these dates:
- Wednesday, August 20
- Monday, September 8
- Monday, November 10
- Monday, December 8
All tests must be started no later than 6:15pm, and appointments are required. Contact Bill Buckles at Extension 283.
The Testing Center, located in the Sutherland Student Services
Suite in Holton Hall, administers placement, make-up, video,
web, and various other assessment instruments.
Students may test any time the office is open, from 8:00
a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays and 8:00
a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Fridays (with allowance for test-taking
time).
To insure adequate time for placement testing (COMPASS),
prospective students should arrive no later than 3:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday, and no later than 2:00 p.m. on
Fridays.
Although appointments are not necessary, those testing
should call 276-523-7472 to confirm the schedule as the
hours may vary during times that classes are not in session.
