Tuition
The tuition for all credit courses is set by the Virginia
State Board of Community Colleges. The printed Class Schedule
posts the most recent information on tuition.
A Virginia domicile is
eligible for in-state tuition rates and is one who has been
domiciled in, and is and has been a bona fide legal resident
of Virginia for a period of at least one year immediately
prior to the commencement of the term or semester of entitlement.
Under certain conditions, out-of-state residents who are employed or whose parents are employed with the Commonwealth of Virginia may be eligible for an in-state tuition exception. Residents of certain Tennessee jurisdictions (Sullivan, Hancock, Hawkins, and the City of Kingsport) and Kentucky jurisdictions (Harlan, Letcher, and Pike) may also be eligible for an in-state tuition exception. To be considered for an in-state tuition exception, please submit a Request for In-State Tuition/Fee Rates to Enrollment Services for each Academic Year. Out-of-State students enrolled in high school dual enrollment classes are also eligible for an in-state tuition exception.
Fees
Fees are assessed to provide services to students which are
not provided with tuition revenues. |
